The first stories will be easily read by children who have started Primer Book 2.
The content of further stories becomes more complex with the addition of more signs, and the consequent growth in vocabulary.
The first thirty-five of the stories are printed in the same typeface as is used elsewhere in the pupils’ materials and which is adopted throughout the classroom materials.
It is a form of italic akin to cursive script and does not include the use of any capitals.
